Virtual Training & Behaviour Consultation

We bring dog training to you.
Train your dog in the comfort & convenience of your home.

Virtual training or online training is not exactly a new thing in the dog training world. If you are new to this, do not be concerned!  You will find our online services beneficial in many ways. In some cases, online training and consultation are more suitable than group training. Whether your dog is fearful, handful and over-excited outside, mouthy or jumpy, you can join the training from home.  All dogs are welcome! In the home environment, you can build your dogs’ foundation concepts, including optimism, confidence, calmness, self-control, focus, flexibility, independence, and develop skills to help them deal with the world out there. Yes, you can home school your dog!

There are so many more benefits!

  • Safety – it keeps you and your family safe at home!
  • Time-saving – no need to drive to the training facility
  • Money-saving – no need to organise a babysitter
  • Distance – no matter where you are, we can reach you!
  • Convenience & flexibility – you can view recorded videos as you like when you like (in your PJ if you want!)
  • Learning environment – you and your dog can focus on the task without the distraction of regular group training.
  • Welfare of your dog – your dog isn’t comfortable with travelling in the car, or she is nervous, fearful, or over-excitable? Your home is a better place for training to build up optimism and confidence.
  • No weather cancellation!
  • Family affaire – you can involve your family members easily at home
  • Speedy response – if you need help asap, online consultation is quicker.
  • Home-based – you can train in a variety of home situations, where you will need good manners most.
  • Q & A – you can ask questions during the live or via WhatsApp group, FB, or messenger. We encourage you to post videos of your training to WhatsApp etc. if you have questions or want to show your progress!

Group Training

Group training is an excellent opportunity for our dogs to learn how to behave around people and other dogs. It will help improve your skills to manage your dog in an environment with a variety of distractions. For young puppies in the socialisation period, it is a safe and well-controlled environment to learn social skills.

Each dog is an individual and has her own preferences, learning style, strength and weakness. And so is each owner! This is why we keep our group size small. We would like to see each owner & dog team become successful together!

The course is designed for puppies between the age of 7 weeks and about 16 weeks old. This is super fun and educational puppy kindergarten course. Giving your pup opportunities for socialisation and building confidence in a safe environment will have a hugely positive effect on him in the long run. If you are getting a puppy, make sure to take advantage of this socialisation period. Teaching your pup by using fun game-based training will create a solid foundation. You won’t regret your investment!

Did your puppy miss a puppy class? Have you just adopted a dog? Or do you want to have fun with your dog? We got you covered! Adolescent and adult dogs new to training are welcome to this foundation course. Even if your dog has done puppy class long ago, you and your dog will find lots of new things to learn here. Game-based training will make training fun and teach our dogs the important concept of behaviour: optimism, calmness, self-control, focus, and flexibility. We will then build essential behaviours, including sit, down, and leave. We will discuss how dogs learn, care and management of dogs, as well as prevention of unwanted behaviour. No upper age limit.

Adolescent dogs can become challenging. Your adult dogs might have developed unruly behaviour reinforced for a while. Maybe you just want your dog to listen! Whatever the goal you have, we are here to help you get your dog real-life ready! Life skills mean calmness, self-control, and focus, as well as practical skills such as loose leash walking, reliable recall and general good manners. We build these life skills through our game-based training. The games we introduce can be played at home and in the backyard, even if the space is limited. Once your dog becomes familiar with the games, you can take them out & about to have fun with your dog! This course has no upper age limit.

Private Session

Training and behaviour consultation can be conducted in the comfort of your own home. We can offer a tailor-made programme to suit the schedule and needs of you and your dog. With the minimal distraction, you and your dog can focus on learning new skills. This option is also great if your dog is not comfortable with other dogs, new people and new places.

During the first session, we will discuss immediate concern and goals, then assess your dog. (In some cases, we may ask for a video recording.) We will explain possible causes of the behaviour and suggest measures to manage it. You will receive a training plan with related information and video clips. Follow up sessions are offered depending on the progress and needs of you and your dog.  Support between the sessions are available vis WhatsApp, e-mail and phonecall, so if you have any question or concern, feel free to contact your behaviour practitioner.

The method used for management and training is based on science-backed positive reinforcement principle. All animals are emotional beings. For animals to learn effectively in our context, they first need to feel safe and comfortable in the environment. Aversive methods are not necessary but can escalate the problems and create other emotional issues.

Tellington TTouch® is often a part of the behaviour modification plan and training. This holistic and gentle training method helps animals relax and release the tension of the body, improves learning ability, and helps deepen our relationship with our animals. The goal is to help animals think and respond to a variety of new situations rather than react to them. It also helps speed up the process of healing and recovery from illness and assist animals with physical issues by promoting good posture and balanced movement. Elderly pets will hugely benefit from the TTouch® method, too.

Dog Walking

Do you struggle with walking with your dog because she pulls, barks and lunges or simply because you do not have enough time? We are here to help you and your dog! We cater for each individual owner’s and dog’s needs. Please contact trainer/behaviour practitioner to discuss.
